INTERVIEW QUESTIONS TESTING QTP DETAILS

Question: I am trying to use a template file (containing reference to settings file, comments etc..,). I have created 'ActionTemplate.mst' in the 'dat' folder .But when I open a new test file the template is not created.
Please help.

Answer: 1.)Open a text file

2.).type the contents what u need

3.)save it as ActionTemplate.mst"

4.)Choose Encoding as "UniCode" (if u don't select this UniCode ur file is not saved as .mst fle)

This is the reason why ur not able to access the template
