Thinking time for 100 lines = 5
For Typing his code 100lines= 10
Tried of Typing again he ill take break for = 5
this is only for 100lines

1hour = 60 minutes
100 lines type and thinking for him he will take = 20 mints.

20minutes=100lines
40minutes = 200lines
60minutes = 300lines

Easily he will type and think at least 300 lines in 1 hour.

400 lines of code

applying commong sense, who will be allowed to take 5mins of break after every 10mins of work? This break will be possible if the break is linked to his work.

5mins break time = 5mins thinking time

Also based on common sense assumption, we can say that after this 5mins break he knows exactly what he will be writing down for the next 10mins, 100 lines of code

so here goes:

5mins break = 5mins thinking time
10mins = 100 lines of code
5mins break = 5mins thinking time
10mins = 100 lines of code5mins break = 5mins thinking time
10mins = 100 lines of code5mins break = 5mins thinking time
10mins = 100 lines of code

which makes it: 400 lines of code.

anything less than this is laziness and a waste of precious time and money Source: CoolInterview.com

Thinking time for 1 line of code 5/100 minute.
Typing time for 1 line of code 10/100
Total time for 1 line of code 5/100+10/100=15/100=3/20
Effective time 10 minutes in 15 minutes=10/15
Total effective time 60*10/15=40
Lines of code = total time/time per line = 40/(3/20)=800/3=266. Source: CoolInterview.com

5 min thinking + 10 mins typing = 15 mins : output==100 lines

15mins effort out put is 100 miles
so 30 mins effort output is 200 lines
but 15 mins break required for 30 mins effort so after 45 mins output is 200 lines.

45 mins output is 200 lines so proportionately after 60 mins it is 266.66 lines of code. Source: CoolInterview.com

He needs to take break after every 10 minutes. So, he will think number of lines which he can write and think within this 10 minutes period. Let 'x' is the time he require to think such number lines.
Time to think + Time to type=10.
x+2x=10
because typing takes double time.
x=3.33 minutes
Number of lines thought and written in 10 min =3.33*20=66
then 5 min break.
Total number of 10 minute periods+ 5 minute break=4
So, total lines written=66*4=264
