this is so because bluetooth can penetrate through walls and has a minimum area of 8-10 mts of coverage 4 a dial up connection or data transfer.

bluetooth is a data transfer,also network accessing device that transfer data or voice of any format
without wire.that's why it is called wireless or cable replacement technology.
It operates at 2.4GHz.Range is 10 meters(32 feet).
