Answer: If you are unable to go on your planned trip due to medical reasons you will need a certified copy of a physician certifying the same. If this was due to a pre existing disease it can be problematic as only if your travel insurance plan has a pre existing condition waiver then you can even get claims for pre existing diseases being the culprit.
