cross cable is used only for similary divices connection like pc to pc 1 and 2 sending the data and 3 and 6 recives the data. Source: CoolInterview.com

using of cross cables to connect same devices reduces the noise effect on the cable,resulted to no loss of single ,so why we use crosss cables to connect same devices.

Because cross cable has opposite function of wire. in utp cable has 8 wires but 4 wires only use in which first 1,2 wires has +data transmit and 3,6 wires has -DATA recieve. same device cant send data to same transmit wires pc to pc does not use same wire for +DATA and -DATA so use opposite..
