The Bug Life Cycle Consists of Various Stages they are: 1.New/Open 2.Assigned 3.Fixed/Cannot Fix/Invalid e.t.c.... 4.Closed
Whenever a bug is encountered it is raised and along with all the Data required(i.e., Log Files,Screen Shots,Exact Point at which the bug is encountered,Environmental Conditions,Severity of the bug e.t.c...)and the mail is sent which is by default received by the TL and he confirms the issue raised by the Tester as a Bug after having discussions with the testing team. Raised Bug is assigned to the Developer, there the Developer Fixes it or Assigns as cannot be fixed if the fixing of the bug can have negative effects on its neighboring Components.Suggestions can be made to make the changes for the next Version.Invalid if the bug has low priority. Then it is sent Back to the Tester and he Closes the Bug Attaching all the Comments sent by the Developer. So, the issue can be recognized and the comments can be found as of why it was left Unfixed.
