Some part of the jcl is a must in all JCL's we code

For eg ://SYSIN statement ,//SYSOUT statement etc.,

Here SYSIN and SYSOUT are the keywords in jcl

These keywords will not change for any JCL they are generic

All others are the DD names so are likely to change



system reserved word is key word..and we canot change it..opposite to is user defined word
