QA: Quality Assurance involves at the entire testing process,its a process based,its a management effort,QA prevent the errors.

QA IS MONITORING & MEASURING THE STRENGTH OF DEVELOPMENT PROCESS.
QC IS THE FINAL OUTPUT AFTER COMPLETION OF PROCESS.

QA will measures the Process which you are building the quality product.QC will measures the quality of the product.

QA: QA defines various processes and procedures standards for software product and service.
QC: QC defines which Software product is evaluated compare with expected standards
QA: Monitoring and improving.

Apart from above difference
QA is Verification and QC is actual testing i.e verification.
