j2EE is platform provides Transactional,Securalised and more facilities. where as java provides object oriented concepts.

1.java is a j2se( java 2 standard edition) . j2ee is ( java 2 enterprise edition).
2.java having a main method so, they are control by main method. But j2ee they are not having the main method they are controlled by the container.
